WHO ARE THE CLIFTONVILLE PARTNERSHIP?

Who is our Point of Contact:

Pamela Pople is the "Point of Contact" for businesses as well as liaising and supporting the local community.

This role is beneficial to all members of the community, establishing good relationships between businesses and local residents.

As part of her diverse role she has to explore new ideas for obtaining additional funding which will enable The Cliftonville Partnership to have the opportunity of holding events and sustaining projects in the future.

She is funded by the Safer, Stronger Communities Fund, details of which can be found at www.saferstrongercommunities.com

She is also a Member of the SSCF Programme Board, representing Cliftonville Business, which has enabled her to be involved in the decision-making process of funding in the local area.

Our Aims & Objectives:

  • To raise the ethos of Cliftonville
  • To help Cliftonville become a thriving shopping area
  • To create a town centre area that residents will use and of which they can be proud
  • To increase Membership
  • To raise the profile of the Cliftonville Partnership
  • To encourage new businesses into the area
  • To help and support existing businesses
  • To encourage businesses to work together
  • To generate more custom for businesses, which in turn brings in new exciting businesses
  • To establish good relationships between businesses, local residents and other local organisations
  • To help create a safer environment for the community

  • Activities:

  • Organising meetings for Members
  • Providing a support network
  • Supporting and organising local events
  • Raising concerns with TDC Officers, local Councillors, Community Wardens, Police and other agencies
  • Encouraging the community to become involved in the decision-making process
  • Receiving relevant updated information
  • Networking with other Proprietors/Managers of established Cliftonville businesses, local community organisations and local residents
  • Contributing and supporting local environmental projects that will enhance the area
